I was asked by TSSA activists to put myself forward for TSSA General Secetary, because of my track record of senior level labour movement administration, equalities and organisational change; my passion for improving members' lives at work; and my history of campaigning on key trade union issues.
My aim is for TSSA to remain an independent and industrially strong trade union, with a growing membership and stable finances.
I will modernise and professionalise every aspect of what TSSA does: overhauling our governance and culture; creating world class training and representation; and improving the services TSSA provides to members, reps, activists, and branches.
Together we can and will build a brighter future for TSSA.
